This homemade pizza with homemade dough is crispy, delicious, and is a favorite eat for my kids.

If my lovely kids had their way we’d have pizza every night – they just never get tired of it! I like to make pizza a few times a month, on Friday or Saturday night.
Ingredients to Make Homemade Pizza
For the Dough:
- warm water,
- yeast
- olive oil
- sugar
- flour
- salt
For the Topping
These toppings are just suggestions. You can change it up and make a pizza that suits your favorite tastes.
- Mozzarella cheese(grated)
- Pizza sauce
- Beef meat
- Tomatoes
How to Make the Pizza Dough
Whisk the warm water, yeast, granulated sugar, and ¼ cup of flour together in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook or paddle attachment. Cover and allow to rest for 10-20 minutes.
If you don’t have a stand mixer, simply use a large mixing bowl and mix the dough with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula. Add the olive oil, salt, and flour, and beat on low speed for 3 minutes. Then with lightly floured hands, knead the dough for 4-5minutes.
Grease a large bowl with oil or nonstick spray– just use the same bowl you used for the dough.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.

Allow the dough to rise at room temperature for 60-90 minutes or until doubles in size.

Grease the baking sheet with olive oil.
When the dough is ready, punch it down to release any air bubbles. Divide the dough in half.

On a lightly floured work surface using a rolling pin gently flatten the dough into a disc.
Place the dough onto the baking sheet.

Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and allow it to rest for a few minutes as you prepare your pizza toppings.
How to Make Homemade Pizza

Place your desired toppings on the pizza and sprinkle with cheese

Preheat the oven to 475°F. Bake 10-15 minutes or until the crust and cheese are golden brown.

How to Store
Cover leftover homemade pizza tightly and store it in the refrigerator. Reheat as you prefer.
