Ingredients to Make Easy Grilled Chicken Tacos

  • chicken breasts
  • taco tortillas
  • cheese Mazzarella
    • FOR MARINADE
  • fresh lime juice
  • chicken seasoning
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • TOPPINGS
    • For Pico de gallo
  • cilantro
  • tomatoes
  • green onion
  • garlic
  • jalapeño
  • corn (optional)

How to Make Easy Grilled Chicken Tacos

Combine the chicken seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, salt and pepper in a bowl and whisk together. Then add the chicken breasts to the bowl and toss them until they are coated.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or you can leave it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before cooking.

Take out the marinated chicken breasts.

 Preheat a grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken on the grill or in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked.

Let the chicken cool slightly then chop into bite sized pieces.

Cook tortillas on the grill for approximately 30 seconds on each side.

Distribute grilled chicken over warm tortillas along with your favorite toppings, such as picco de gallo salsa, corn, cheese, cilantro, and lime.

You can top these with many different optional toppings like sour cream, salsa, red onion, green onion, or even jalapeños.

  • 8 taco tortillas
  • ½ cup cheese Mazzarella

Picco de Gallo Salasa

  • Cut the tomatoes, green onions and add to medium bowl.Dice jalapeño removing some seeds to lower heat level, if necessary. Add to bowl. Peel and crush garlic, roughly chop cilantro and add to bowl. Add lime juice. Salt and pepper to desired taste.
