All you need is one dough, which you divide for both the crust and crumble topping. Then, you just need to add a layer of cherries in between, and voila! Ingredients to Make Cherry Crumb Pie with Almond Flour

  • unsalted butter melted , cooled to room temperature
  • granulated sugar
  • almond flour
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • fresh cherries , pitted, each sliced in half
  • cornstarch

How to Make Cherry Crumb Pie with Almond Flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Dough: Blend the butter and sugar until they become light and airy. Combine the almond flour, baking powder, and salt, add them to the mixture of butter, and stir them together using a spoon until they start forming crumbs. Proceed to use your hands to mix until the desired crumbly texture is achieved

It is possible to use a food processor to make the dough.

Gently but firmly press down 75% of the crumb dough into the pie dish, making sure to also press it up the sides of the dish.

Combine cornstarch and cherries in a mixing bowl of moderate size, stirring until well mixed.
