- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a metal loaf pan measuring 9 x 5 inches with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a big mixing bowl, place bananas and crush them using a fork or masher. Next, include egg, butter, vanilla extract, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Combine flour by gently stirring with a spatula. Add walnuts and stir a few times.
- Bake the batter for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Take the best banana bread out of the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes. After that, remove the bread from the loaf pan and place it on a cooling rack to cool for approximately another hour.Use a serrated knife when slicing bread to prevent it from crumbling.
