Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Remove the tough membrane covering the underside/bony side of the ribs. Place on a baking sheet or tray that has been lined with foil (or parchment paper).
Combine garlic powder, onionpowder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Drizzle oil over the ribs and sprinkle with seasoning. Rub the seasoning all over both sides of the ribs. Bake for 2 hours,covered with foil.
Mix the sauce ingredients together during the final 5 minutes of cooking.
Raise oven temperature to 460°F (240°C). Put ribs back in oven, without covering, and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Set oven to broil (or grill) on medium-high to lightlybrown and caramelise edges (approx. 3 minutes).
Allow the juices toflow back into the meat by taking a 10 minute break before slicing. Enjoy!
