Bacon Chicken Roll Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup Philadelphia cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts: Place a chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap or wax paper. Using a meat mallet or rolling pin, gently pound the chicken until it's about 1/4 inch thick. Repeat with the remaining chicken breasts.
  3. Season the chicken: Sprinkle both sides of each chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roll up the chicken: Spread Philadelphia cheese on chicken breast. Then add red bell pepper and roll up. Wrap bacon slices around chicken breast to cover the chicken completely
  5. Cook the roll: Place the chicken roll seam side down in a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
