Easy Homemade Raspberry Sauce

This quick and easy homemade raspberry sauce recipe is made in only 10-12 minutes! It is a great topping for cheesecake, pancakes, ice cream, oatmeal, and more.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups sugar granulated
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Combine raspberries, lemon juice, and sugar in a saucepan, and cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes. The berries will break down and the sauce will thicken as it cooks.
  2. At this point, you can either strain the seeds out, puree them in the food processor(blender), or leave them chunky.
  3. Remove from heat, and transfer the easy homemade raspberry sauce to glass jars.
  4. Allow cooling before serving.
