Brussels Sprouts with Garlic

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb brussels sprouts
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves smashed
  • salt to taste

Method
 

  1.  Snap off any outer leaves that might be browning and rough outer leaves of larger sprouts.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Then add the brussels sprouts and cook until bright green, 2-3 minutes. Drain well and pat dry.
  3. In a large, deep skillet,heat 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil. Saute smashed garlic cloves for 1-2minutes, and remove from the skillet.
  4. After that add the brussels sprouts and season with salt. Cook over moderate heat, stirring a few times,for 3 minutes.
  5. Serve warm.
