Method
- Snap off any outer leaves that might be browning and rough outer leaves of larger sprouts.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Then add the brussels sprouts and cook until bright green, 2-3 minutes. Drain well and pat dry.
- In a large, deep skillet,heat 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil. Saute smashed garlic cloves for 1-2minutes, and remove from the skillet.
- After that add the brussels sprouts and season with salt. Cook over moderate heat, stirring a few times,for 3 minutes.
- Serve warm.
