- 1 egg

- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- (about 3 stalks) finely chopped green onions
- 1 tsp oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the kefir, egg, salt, and sugar. Stir in the baking soda.
Gradually add the flour while stirring until a thick, smooth batter forms (like for American pancakes).
Gently fold in the chopped green onions.
Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with oil. Spoon the batter into small rounds.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until bubbles form on the surface and the bottoms are golden brown. Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
