In a pot, combine chicken broth, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce.
Bring to a boil, then let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain the broth to remove the ginger and garlic pieces.
Boil the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Place the noodles in a deep bowl.
Top with sliced chicken, half a boiled egg, chopped green onions, and herbs.
Pour the hot broth over everything.
Serve hot with chopsticks or a spoon. You can also drizzle a little sesame oil or add chili sauce if you like a spicy touch.
