- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick slices
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1 tbsp Honey (optional, for drizzling)
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp walnuts, toasted
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the baguette slices: Brush each baguette slice with a little olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Arrange them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Toast the bread: Bake the bread slices in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
Assemble the crostini: Place a slice of brie on each toasted baguette slice. Add a slice or two of pear on top of the brie.
Bake again:Put the assembled crostini back into the oven for about 5 minutes, just until the brie begins to melt.
Finishing touches: Remove from the oven and drizzle lightly with honey. Garnish with parmesan cheese, and if desired, sprinkle toasted walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
Serve: Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy!
