Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound store-bought or homemade gnocchi
  • 7 ounces bacon, diced
  • 2 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to the package instructions or until they float to the surface, usually about 2-3 minutes. Drain the cooked gnocchi and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or frying pan, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy.Remove the cooked bacon from the pan and set it aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
  • In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the gratedParmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked gnocchi and cooked bacon to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Gently toss everything together until the gnocchi and bacon are well coated with the sauce.
  • Once everything is heated through, remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve the creamy bacon gnocchi hot, straight from the skillet. It's a comforting and satisfying dish that's perfect for a cozy meal.
