Grilled Greek Lamb Recipe

On tonight's menu is the Grilled Greek lamb recipe which is quick and effortless to make. Ingredients
  

  • 1.3 lb lamb (mix lags and chops)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon  juice and zest
  • 1 tsp rosemary, dried
  • 1 tsp  thyme, dried
  • ½ tsp oregano, dried
  •  salt and black pepper to tasty

Instructions
 

  • Apply salt and black pepper to both sides of the lamb to season it.
  • To prepare themarinade, mix olive oil, rosemary, thyme, and oregano in a gallon-sized plasticbag that can be resealed. Squeeze out the juice and grate the zest of a lemon,and pour it into the bag. Place the lamb in the bag and knead it to ensure thatthe marinade is uniformly distributed.
  • Keep the lamb immersed in the marinade and refrigerate it for 90 minutes. Once done, take it out from the fridge and allow it to warm up at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to a high temperature. Take the lamb out from the marinade and dispose of the marinade. Grill the lamb according to your desired level of doneness on each side. Cooking for 3-4 minutes will produce medium-rare lamb.
  • Present along side some cooked rice or pair it up with your preferred Greek side dishes..
