Fresh Chocolate Apple Pops are ideal for any special occasion. Customize them to your own taste with a variety of toppings! Perfect for your holiday party.

- 2 granny smith apples
- wooden pop sticks
- 4 ounce semisweet chocolate, melted
- Assorted sprinkles and/orchopped nuts
Prepare your favorite desired toppings.
Melt dark chocolate using either a double boiler or your microwave, taking care not to burn it when using the latter.
Cut the apples into slices and pat them dry with a paper towel. Insert wooden sticks into the slices carefully, taking care not to split them.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Dip each apple slice inmelted chocolate and sprinkle on desired toppings (or roll in toppings). Place on parchment paper. Repeat for all slices.
Allow the chocolate to cool and set for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve and enjoy the same day in order to prevent moisture from weeping through the apples.
