- 12 oz Tri-color Rotini (spirals).
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 onion finely diced
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, a pinch of black pepper, and dried oregano or Italian herbs.
Boil the Pasta: Cook the rotini in salted water according to the package directions until tender. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté Aromatics: Add the finely diced onion to the meat and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft. Stir in the garlic and seasonings, cooking for 1 more minute until fragrant.
Combine: Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the beef. The Cheese Finish: Turn off the heat.
