- 2 boneless beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel. Rub both sides with olive oil, then season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Optionally, rub a bit of minced garlic into the steaks for extra flavor.
Heat your grill to high. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
Place the steaks on the hot grill.
Grill for about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time based on your preferred doneness. Flip for the best grill marks and flavor.
Remove from the grill and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
