Homemade Pizza & Pizza Dough
This homemade pizza with homemade dough is crispy, delicious, and is a favorite eat for my kids.

For the Dough:
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp suger
- 1 tsp salt
For the Topping
- ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese (grated)
- ⅓ cup Pizza Sauce
- ¼ cup Meet
- 1 Tomato
How to Make the Dough
Whisk the warm water, yeast, granulated sugar, and ¼ cup of flour together in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook or paddle attachment. Cover and allow to rest for 10-20 minutes. If you don’t have a stand mixer, simply use a large mixing bowl and mixthe dough with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula. Add the olive oil, salt, and flour, and beat on low speed for 3 minutes. Then with lightly floured hands, knead the dough for 4-5minutes.
Grease a large bowl with oil or nonstick spray– just use the same bowl you used for the dough.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rise at room temperature for 60-90 minutes or untildoubles in size. When the dough is ready, punch it down to release any air bubbles.
How to Make Homemade Pizza
Preheat the oven to 475°F. Grease the baking sheet with olive oil.
Divide the dough in half.
On a lightly floured work surface using a rolling pin gently flatten the dough into a disc. Place the dough onto the baking sheet.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and allow it to rest for a few minutes as you prepare your pizza toppings.
Spoon on the tomato sauce, place your desired toppings on the pizza and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 10-15 minutes or until the crust and cheese are golden brown. Slice hot pizza and serve immediately.
